Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag of frozen corn
  • 1 medium onion
  • 28 oz chicken broth
  • 3 red potatoes #3 cone or cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 slices bacon
  • Minced fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat MP5 (crock pot) to 325 degrees.
  • Cut onion on #3 cone.
  • Dice 3 slices of bacon.
  • Sauté onion and bacon until browned in MP5.
  • Add broth and potatoes.
  • Reduce heat to 225 degrees.
  • When soup begins to boil, add corn, ½ cup of the milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In a different bowl, whisk flour and the other ½ cup of milk until smooth
  • Stir mixture into the MP5.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes or until it thickens.
