- 1 bag of frozen corn
- 1 medium onion
- 28 oz chicken broth
- 3 red potatoes, #3 cone or cubed
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 slices bacon
- Minced fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat MP5 (crock pot) to 325 degrees.
- Cut onion on #3 cone.
- Dice 3 slices of bacon.
- Sauté onion and bacon until browned in MP5.
- Add broth and potatoes.
- Reduce heat to 225 degrees.
- When soup begins to boil, add corn, ½ cup of the milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a different bowl, whisk flour and the other ½ cup of milk until smooth
- Stir mixture into the MP5.
- Cook for another 5 minutes or until it thickens.
