Bell’s Princess Purple Salad

Ingredients

  • ¼ purple cabbage
  • ¼ green cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange (zest & juice)
  • ½ lemon (zest & juice)
  • ½ pineapple, cut into quarters

Instructions

  1. Process the purple cabbage using the #1 cone for a fine shred. After shredding, gently squeeze it with your hands to release its natural juices, this creates a vibrant purple juice and softens the texture.
  2. Process the green cabbage using the #3 cone for a slightly thicker shred, giving the slaw a nice texture contrast.
  3. Cut the carrot using the #1 or #2 cone, depending on whether you prefer a finer or slightly thicker shred.
  4. Cut half of the apple using the #3 cone for texture, and the other half using the #1 cone for finer pieces. Lightly squeeze the apple to release some juice, which adds natural sweetness to the slaw.
  5. Process the pineapple using the #3 cone to create juicy, bite-sized pieces.
  6. Using the #1 cone, zest the orange and lemon directly into the bowl. Then squeeze in the juice from both fruits to add freshness and brightness.
  7. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined and evenly coated with the natural juices.
